As Of Late

It’s been install after install as of late – and we’re not complaining!  The Summer is off to a great start.  We’ve been doing installs locally, as well as on both coasts – one in California and one in Maine.  Here’s a peek into our past 2 weeks.  We used a great Kelly Wearstler fabric to make drapes for a local client and are so happy with the way they turned out.

All Things Brass

We’re obsessed with all things brass right now.  We finished an install yesterday and were able to add the pieces in the first two pictures to the home.  Brass lights, lamps, mirrors, fixtures, and decorative pieces are classic but can also look unique and unexpected – which we love.  Every room needs a little something quirky to make it stand out.

On The Horizon

We have a new project on our plate – a beautiful house in Maine!  We’re getting inspired by the gorgeous hardwood floors, high ceilings, french doors, and bay windows in the house. We love the idea of doing pendant lights in the kitchen, a lacquered vanity in the bathroom, and creating a mudroom with floor to ceiling cabinets to store anything and everything.  The possibilities are endless… stay tuned for before and after pictures!

Grey Cabinets

We’ve been seeing grey cabinetry in kitchens a lot – and we love it.  It’s a nice change from traditional white cabinets, and adds a certain richness to the space.  Grey cabinets with luxury stainless steel appliances is a dreamy combo that we can’t wait to try on our next install.  Would you paint your cabinets a dark shade of grey or opt for a more basic white?

Dash & Albert Rugs

The beauty of Dash and Albert rugs is that they’re durable, versatile, and come in a fun assortment of colors and patterns.  We carry a huge variety in the store because our customers love them.  Since we spend so much time outside in Arizona, we like to pay special attention to our patios.  Great patio furniture, bright cushions, and a punchy rug come together to create a space that is ideal for entertaining.  The rug in the first picture brings the space to life.  Can’t you picture it in a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or living room as well?  Versatility at its finest!

A Chic Nursery

It’s always fun to look back at past projects.  This project was really fun because we were able to take a baby’s nursery to the next level.  Instead of your typical blues and pinks – we used greens and purples, mixed ikat and leopard prints, and added bold artwork to the walls.  The outcome was a calm, chic nursery that could easily evolve into a more mature room when the baby gets older.

Inspiring Patio spaces

We’re constantly inspired by patios we see in magazines, websites and blogs.  Carla loves the clean lines in these designs.  They’re simple and modern – and would look stunning against a desert backdrop  - or any backdrop for that matter!
